PRIVACY POLICY
This page explains in plain language what information TaxiNexo uses to quote and provide a transfer, why it is needed, who it may be shared with and how you can exercise your rights.

TaxiNexo Gestión SpA, Chilean tax ID (RUT) 78.459.496-3, is responsible for the personal data used to quote, manage and provide TaxiNexo services. Its registered address is Diagonal Paraguay N.º 481, Oficina B, comuna de Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email info@taxinexo.cl. Do not email full card details, payment credentials, or private booking access codes or links.
To quote and manage a transfer, we may need your contact details and trip information: origin, destination, date, time, number of passengers, luggage, stops, notes or instructions needed for the journey. We also use the quote, request, booking and payment identifiers generated by the system. If you request a tax document, we may ask for the information needed to issue it. We do not generally require information about gender, health, biometrics or other sensitive data to quote or book a transfer when it is not needed to provide the service.
We use the information needed to prepare your quote, receive and manage your request, coordinate the transfer, verify payment status and provide the booked service. It may also be needed to handle changes, cancellations or incidents, issue tax documents, protect service security and comply with legal obligations. These uses are necessary to respond to your request, manage or provide the service, or comply with legal duties. If a purpose requires your consent, we will ask for it specifically before using your data for that purpose.
Most information comes directly from you when you request a quote, request or manage a transfer, or contact TaxiNexo. The system also creates information needed to identify and manage each operation, and we may receive only the necessary status information from payment or other service providers. We do not collect personal data from public sources to build passenger profiles.
We share only the information needed to provide the service. This may include the assigned driver and providers supporting functions such as web hosting, email, maps and routing, or payments. Each recipient should receive only the information required for its role. TaxiNexo does not publish passengers’ private data or maintain a public directory of that data.
Some technology providers may process information from other countries. When an integration involves an international data transfer, TaxiNexo must first verify the destination, the need for the transfer and the applicable safeguards. Specific information will be updated when it applies to a provider actually in use.
We keep information only for as long as needed to manage the service and meet applicable legal, tax, contractual, security or legal-claims requirements. Retention periods may differ by record type; we do not keep all information for one indiscriminate period.
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk and aim to use only the information needed by default. Among other measures, public content is separated from private data and access to booking information is restricted. We review these measures to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
Payments are processed through the enabled payment provider. TaxiNexo needs to link the payment to the relevant operation and know its status in order to manage the booking. Do not send full card numbers, security codes or payment credentials by email.
The website may automatically calculate fares and perform validations needed for a quote or to manage the service. TaxiNexo does not currently use automated decisions or profiling that, on their own, produce significant legal effects for passengers. If this changes, we will explain the relevant logic and possible consequences in advance.
Entering a pickup or destination address does not give TaxiNexo permission to access your device’s precise location. If a precise-location feature is offered in the future, we will explain what location data is used, why, for how long and whether a third party is involved before access is requested.
TaxiNexo does not currently use optional passenger analytics, advertising or tracking technologies. Functions needed to browse, request a quote, request, pay for or manage a transfer are not presented as consent for those purposes. If this changes, we will update this policy and request consent where legally required.
You may request access, correction, deletion, objection, portability and, where applicable, blocking of your personal data. If processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Where applicable, you may also bring a matter before the competent authority.
To exercise a right, email info@taxinexo.cl and describe your request and the information involved. We may reasonably verify your identity to protect your data. Do not send payment credentials or private booking access codes or links.
