SERVICE TERMS

Clear rules for booking and using TaxiNexo

These terms explain how a quotation becomes a confirmed booking and how payments, transfers, itineraries, waiting time, changes and cancellations are handled.

Quotation, request and confirmation

A quotation shows the price calculated from the information provided and the current rules. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability. TaxiNexo should present a service as confirmed only after a valid driver assignment and all required steps, including payment where applicable.

Payment and currency

Final payment is made in Chilean pesos (CLP). Other currencies, when displayed, are references only. Payment is enabled after driver confirmation and processed by the enabled payment provider. A declined or incomplete transaction is not a confirmed payment.

Direct transfer

Direct transfers are subject to the current general minimum lead time of 60 minutes and availability. The system determines the operational route classification. For a round trip, the passenger must state whether the driver will wait before proceeding.

Itinerary service

The itinerary service supports up to 5 destinations in one sequence and is not a multi-day service. Minimum lead time is 18 hours, with 24 hours recommended. Maximum continuous duration is 15 hours. Brief stops of about 5–10 minutes do not by themselves count as contracted waiting time.

Waiting time, changes and additional charges

Contracted waiting time is charged in 30-minute blocks of CLP 8,500, equivalent to CLP 17,000 per hour. Normal traffic is not waiting time. Changes requiring recalculation must be communicated and accepted before an additional charge is completed where possible; if connectivity is unavailable, the event may be recorded and regularised afterwards.

Tolls and route conditions

Applicable TAG and toll charges are included according to the current service rules. Travel times can vary because of traffic, weather, controls, closures or road conditions; TaxiNexo does not guarantee an exact duration when external factors are involved.

Cancellations and rescheduling

With at least 8 hours’ notice, the passenger may request rescheduling subject to availability or cancellation with an 80% refund of the amount paid. With less than 8 hours’ notice there is no refund, including notices close to departure such as about 3 hours beforehand. Exceptional cases or disputes may require individual review.

Passengers, luggage and conduct

Passenger, luggage and relevant service information must be accurate so a compatible vehicle can be assigned. Passengers must respect safety, capacity and legal requirements. TaxiNexo may require a different operational solution if the information provided does not match actual conditions.

Force majeure and incidents

If force majeure, disruption or an incident makes part of the service impossible after assignment, the operator will assess the appropriate solution for the specific case. There is no single automatic financial rule for every exceptional situation.

Documents, privacy and contact

Tax documents are handled according to the current process and the information supplied by the passenger. Private booking information is accessed through My booking with the corresponding authorisation. Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy. Contact: info@taxinexo.cl.
